Excel data or sheet not showing/preview

 Error

When I open an excel its showing like this: 

Resolution

open regedit with admin privileges 

Goto

Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Excel.Sheet.12\shell\Open

Rename ==>

copy the following value

[open("%1" /ou "%u")]

change the following value with copied data

now open excel file

click look for another app on this pc

Goto excel installation folder and select excel
